He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wanda and Clara Wanda (Anusky); and his brother Richard Wanda. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wanda (Vodvarka); and his children, Jonathan Wanda, Benjamin Wanda (Gwendolyn), Abigail Englert (Joshua), Joseph Wanda (Hannah), Lydia Bahrke (Gabriel) and Matthew Wanda. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren.
