We bid farewell to Carole J. Schmidt of Aledo, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 28, 2025 at the age of 87. Carole touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Stevens and Kathleen Lucille Stevens (Mann); her husband Ron; and her sister Francie. She is survived by: her sons, Kirk (Linda Reusch), Tim (Shelly Reusch) and Todd Reusch of Des Moines; her stepchildren, Ronald P. Schmidt of Dewitt, IA, Lee Schmidt of Davenport and Laura Sharon of Wyoming, MI; her grandchildren, Jeremy and Kelsey Reusch; and her stepsons, Zachary Reusch (Katie), Eric Reusch, Jake Reusch and Joe Reusch (Sienna). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aledo United Methodist Church (301 N College Ave, Aledo, IL 61231).
