Clara E. McCreight Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Clara E. McCreight of Aledo, Illinois. Clara, born on May 30, 1932, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scott and Elizabeth Danielson Scott; her husbands, Warren McCleary and J. Larry McCreight; and her siblings, Frank Scott Jr., Vern Scott, Lola Engle, Norma Brooks, Jack Scott and Janie Lutz.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Larson (Wayne) of Mountain Home, Patti Baldwin (Jeff) of Aledo and Doug McCleary (Babbi) of Aledo; her grandchildren, Kelly (Jason), Mike (Deanna), Mark (Stephanie), Todd, Lindsi and Matthew (Monica); her sister Betty Needham of La Mesa, California; her nephews, Bryan McCreight of Sarasota, Butch McCreight (Kim) of Milan and Bruce McCreight (Lori) of Brimfield; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Brittney (Chris), Tyson, Marcus, Shannon (Cedric), Grant (Tatyana) and Morgan (Brent). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fippinger Funeral Home (401 S College Ave, Aledo, IL 61231).
Memorial contributions may be left to the Hamlet Cemetery Association.
