Hanson of Davenport, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Taelar, Joe Spindler, Ashley, Bryce Stotler and Reid Hillyer (Allison Auchbach); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Soren, Rory Spindler and Henry Stotler; his siblings, Linda Sage of Aledo, Bill (Laura Anderson) and Tim (Theresa Anderson); and his sister-in-law Elsa Anderson of Minneapolis, MN..
