Lou Ann Smith Obituary

We announce the death of Lou Ann Smith (Aledo, Illinois), who passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 72. Lou Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Marjorie Smith (Diehl). She is survived by: her children, Brandon Ziegenhorn (Teri) of Joy and Marcie Terrill of New Boston; her grandchildren, Tyler Ziegenhorn (Caitryn), Hannah Terrill, Evan Terrill, Brooke Ziegenhorn and Ellie Kernan; her great grandchildren, Dawson and Andrew Ziegenhorn; and her brothers, Jeff and Eric Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. In keeping with Louann's love for fishing and the river, a portion of memorials will be donated to the Keithsburg Boat Club in her memory.
