She is survived by : her father Franklin "Mick" McMeekan (Janet); her husband Mike of Aledo; her children, Khole VanVooren of Aledo, Ashlee Ehlers (Christopher) of Joy and Kassi Battin (Adicuse) of Aledo; her grandchildren, Kairi, Zoe, Mick, Liara, Silas, Olivia and Lucien; and her siblings, Marla Welch of Viola, Marji Kehoe of Viola and Ronnie Miller of Matherville.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center or to Michael VanVooren to assist with costs.
