We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 85, Norma J. Bemis of Aledo, Illinois, born in Augusta, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma J. Bemis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Landis and Erma Landis (Smith); and her siblings, Elaine Landis, Lois Rader and Donald Landis.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Bemis; her daughters, Jane Bemis of Aledo, Jean (Kurt Kozma) and Georgia (Mike Vogt); her grandchildren, Hannah Vogt, Erik and Kareena Vogt; her great grandchildren, Layton and Peter; and her brother Kenneth Landis of Aledo.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Speer Funeral Home (2502 SE 3rd St, Aledo, IL 61231). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Churches of Mercer County Food Pantry or Mercer Foundation for Health.
