It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard M Anderson of Aledo, Illinois, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dan Anderson and Leona Anderson (Marple). He is survived by : his wife Elsa Smith; his children, Angie and Dack; his granddaughters, Alexa, Annelia, Abby and Hannah Anderson; and his siblings, Linda Sage (Dick), Jerry Anderson (Marta Hanson), Bill Anderson (Laura) and Tim Anderson (Theresa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.
For acts of remembrance the family prefers donations be sent to organizations that can continue to provide support to others like they did for Dick. Please give consideration to St. Croix Hospice, American Cancer Society, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as donation recipients.
