He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Owens and Myrtle Owens; his wife Patricia J Owens; his brothers, Earl, Eddie, Ronald and Larry Owens; his stepsons, James Wheeler and Mike Willis; and his grandson Brandon Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Moyers and Robert Owens; his stepchildren, Rich (Willis), Thomas (Willis), Laura (Dave Stearman) and John (Pam Wheeler); and his sisters, Joyce and Wanda.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
