Lois J. Lynch Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois J. Lynch of Alexis, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. and Mary C. Ditmars (Cook); her husband Floyd E. Lynch; and her sons, James Lynch and John David Lynch.
She is survived by: her children, Lori McKeown of Rio, IL and Kevin Lynch (Fawn) of Galesburg, IL; and her grandchildren, Carey Feltmeyer (Nathaniel) of Galesburg, IL, Cory McKeown (Tara) of Alexis, IL, Heather Lynch of Knoxville and Nate McGraw (Jessica) of Macomb, IL. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGuire and Davies Funeral Home (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Alexis Cemetery (207 N Holloway St, Alexis, IL 61412).
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital and can be sent to the funeral home. .
