With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecilia Wagner of Algonquin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Markowitz and Rose Markowitz (Riska); her husband Orval Wagner; her son Thomas Wagner; and her siblings, Katherine Benson, William and Ralph Markowitz.

She is survived by: her children, Renee Steel (Brent), Carol Borrelli (Al) and Don Wagner; her grandchildren, Tara Drafall (Dave), Tina Baxter (Cory), Toni Dziadosz (Vic), Tom Wagner (Jessica), Donald Wagner (Katie) and Bailey Wagner; and her great grandchildren, Sam, Piper, Carter, Hayden, Landon, Isabella, Fiona, Elizabeth, Jayden and Ariella. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Services (201 S Main St, Algonquin, IL 60102). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
