She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dalton and Juanita Dalton (Zook); her husband Joseph M. DeVita; and her sisters, Therese Dalton, Bonnie Chamberlain (John) and Shirley Dunn (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Joseph DeVita (Melinda), Julie DeVita, Michael DeVita (Edith), Mark DeVita (Tracy) and Scott DeVita (Erin); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Weadley (Walter), Ashley Mears (Brett), Jamie Swiderski (Brandon), Thomas DeVita (Aurora), Anthony DeVita (Jessi) and Elisabetta DeVita; her great grandchildren, Wade, Collins Weadley and Maisie Mears; and her brother Robert Dalton (Marge). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
