James Sylvester Doll Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Sylvester Doll of Algonquin, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Sylvester leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester L. Doll and Ada Helen Galbraith Doll. He is survived by: his daughter Jerri Phenix (Matthew); his granddaughter Audrey Phenix; his stepson Paul Coe (Jessie); his grandchildren, Richard Coe (Indre) and Elizabeth Coe (Jeremy Hipps); and his pet Princess Leia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Baptist Church at Lake in the Hills, IL.
