He was predeceased by: his sister Juana; his brother-in-law Jorge; his niece Dora; his grandson Aiden; Amparo.
He is survived by: his spouse Eber; his children, José (Maria), Erica and Veronica (Daniel); his grandchildren, Marco (Stephanie), Graciela (Alonzo), Adriana, Lorenzo, Isaac, Adrian, Halia and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Alonzo Junior and Sebastian; and his sisters, Martha (Austencion) and Amparo (Ramiro).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Willow Funeral Home (1415 W Algonquin Rd, Algonquin, IL 60102). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Monica Catholic Church (90 N John F. Kennedy Dr, Carpentersville, IL 60110). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at the Dundee Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Jose's memory.
