He is survived by: his spouse Bozena Zabala; his children, Sarah Zabala and Stacey Hirt; his grandchildren, Matthew Hirt (Christine), Joshua Hirt (Kristen) and Emmanuelle Hirt (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Margaret Mary Catholic Church (111 S Hubbard St, Algonquin, IL 60102).
