Stone of Algonquin, Illinois, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Stone and Rose Stone (Boodin). He is survived by : his wife Joan Stone (Watt); his children, Lisa Hanlon (Edy), Jeff Stone (Lainie) and Greg Stone (Courtney); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Stephanie), Jacob, Grace and Dakota; and his brother Richard Stone (Cathy).

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (300 Jefferson St, Algonquin, IL 60102).

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, 320 Jefferson St., Algonquin, IL 60102.
