He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Vachette; and his sister Lin Fawcett. He is survived by: his father Paul Vachette; his wife Cathy Vachette; his children, Katie Farnsworth (Terry) and Paul Vachette (Amy McMahon); his grandchildren, Ethan, Elizabeth, Ava, Everly and Aubrey; his sister Lorie Vachette; and his brother-in-law Randy Simonson.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huntley American Legion (11712 Coral St, Huntley, IL 60142). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
