In loving memory of Robert H. Ballschmiede of Algonquin, Illinois, who departed this world on June 29, 2025 at the age of 76. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Ballschmiede and Marilyn J. Ballschmiede; and his daughters, Laura Waller and Lana DeShaw. He is survived by: his wife Kay M.; his grandchildren, Kody and Jesseca Mayfield; his great grandchild Adalyn; and his siblings, Richard Ballschmiede (Ruth), Susan Lazenby (Greg), Ron Ballschmiede (Carol), Randy Ballschmiede (Wendy) and Karri Klemmer (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews, as well as many good friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (504 W Main St, West Dundee, IL 60118).
