It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Kvistad of Algonquin, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin J. Kvistad and Norah P.; his brothers, Alvin and John; his stepson Dean Goldufsky; and his daughter-in-law Lori Rudick.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Shari" Ruble; his daughters, Kelly (Scott), Tracey (Patrick) and Melanie; and his grandchildren, Joe, Nick, Megan, Kevin, Keeley, Tyler and Kendra. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and three cats.
