She was predeceased by: her father Robert M. Hosto. She is survived by: her husband Alexander R. Shimkus of Alhambra, IL; her mother Ruth M. Hosto; her siblings, Mark A. Hosto (Brenda) of Alhambra, IL and Terri L. Hosto of Brentwood, MO; her siblings' children, Andrea L. Kessler (Ian) of Alhambra, IL and Robert R. Hosto (Breanna) of Pocahontas, IL; her siblings-in-law, Tom Shimkus (Lavinia) of Rolling Meadows, IL and Barb Perell of Fairfax, VA; her nephews, Logan Shimkus of Rolling Meadows, IL, Nate Shimkus of Fairfax, VA and Will Shimkus of Fairfax, VA; and her pet Cat.
