We announce the death of Leonard D. Suhre of Alhambra, Illinois, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 75. Leonard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Suhre and Gatha Suhre; his son Ryan Leonard Suhre; his siblings-in-law, Esther Price (Guy) and Emery Caesar; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Carron.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Carron; his children, Chris Suhre (Marlo) of Edwardsville and Niki Dick (John) of Fishers, IN; his grandchildren, Noah, Aiden, Samantha, Jillian Suhre, Jake and Evie Dick; and his siblings-in-law, Carleen "Kay", Michael Carron (Karen) of Washington, MO and Richard Carron of Hayes, VA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the First Baptist Church (209 W Main St, Alhambra, IL 62001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, plants, or other gifts, memorials may be made to the Highland High School Band Program (HBCB) and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 1501 9th St., Highland, IL 62249, which is serving the family.
