She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Steward and Myrtle Murray Steward; her former life partner Russ Atchison; her children-in-law, Marcia Atchison, Steve Edmund and Jeff Brown; her grandson Trevor Atchison; and her brothers, Herschel, Rolland and Gene Steward.
She is survived by : her husband Charles McLaughlin of Alpha, IL; her sons, Mark Atchison of Alpha, IL and Kelly Atchison (Trudy) of Alpha, IL; and her stepchildren, Marcia Cowser (Randy) of Carterville, IL, Janice Edmund of Evansville, IN, Beverly Brown of Evansville, IN, Darcy Swigart (Scott) of Missouri Valley, IA and Chuck McLaughlin (Deb) of Alpha, IL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be left to the Alpha Cemetery or the Alpha United Methodist Church.
