She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Black and Ruby Gates Black; her stepfather Edward Skolnick; and her daughter Anna Marie Brewer. She is survived by: her husband Donald Brewer of Alpha; her daughter Heather Smallwood (Adam) of Moline; and her siblings, Candyce Weber (Randy) of Cambridge and Harold Black (Julia) of Carbon Cliff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home - Alpha (111 S 1st St, Alpha, IL 61413). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be left to the Knox County Humane Society.
