He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Paul McConnell Sr. and Nancy Lee Robinson McConnell; and his grandfather Elwin McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McConnell. He is also survived by 1 brother; 2 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be left to Eight Days of Hope, which is a nonprofit organization that aids in the aftermath of natural and human disasters.
