He was predeceased by: his son Elliot Hensel (Caley); his parents, Antonio Riccio and Cristina Riccio; and his siblings, Frank, Joseph and Sylivia.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Riccio; his children, Pamela Hensel Gibson (Tom Gibson) and Bruce Riccio (Geneva); his grandchildren, Samantha (Trent Shapiro), Becka Riccio, Shannon (Dan McCall) and Christine Redmond (Michael); his children, Rachael (Mike Tisoncik) and Jack Redmond; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Tisoncik and Eve Jossi Hensel.
The family welcomes donations to the USO, or a memorial tree, in lieu of flowers.
