He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Reiss and Edith Reiss (Thoele); and his siblings, James Reiss (Margaret), Robert Reiss (Celeste), Anna Mae McCain, Dorothy Augustine (Ben), Phyllis Coleman and Mary Jane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
