He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith and JesseCaroline Fairley (Davis); his wife JoAnn Timms; his children, Robert Charles Fairley and Brenda Christine Fairley; and his siblings, Jack Fairley (Lucille) and Virginia Lea Lary (Robert).
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Ann Schoenhoff (Gerald) of Brownstown and Kathryn Jo Ruff (David) of Altamont; his grandchildren, Justin Wagemann (Earle), Adam Mette, Mitchell Ruff (Cody), Brianna Schoenhoff, Dylan Keller, Angelisa Schoenhoff and Bethany Schoenhoff; and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Brown, Abby Mette, Bostyn Mette, Lily Schoenhoff and Niarah Dallas Johnson.
