She was predeceased by : her parents, Viness Linton and Florence Linton; her former life partner Louis Joseph Bates Jr.; her brother-in-law Marvin Sorrel; and also Rannie Bates.
She is survived by : her children, Ronnie Joe Bates (Donna) of Beecher City, Jill Lynn Breshears (Steven) of Azle and Mark Runge (Shanna) of Port Charlotte; her sister Lois Sorrel; her grandchildren, Stephanie Danielle Boehm, Jeremy Scott Bates, Shannen Marcie Mitchell and Cinnamon Brandi Hampton; and her stepgrandsons, Alex and Levi Runge. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren one great- great grandchild.
