It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Charles Tappan of Altamont, Illinois, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Cecil and Lola Faye Tappan; his siblings, Dennis and Doris; his wife Cathy; his children, Jill and Michael; and his grandson Guy Louis.

He is survived by : his sons, Chris Tappan (Kellie) of Thompsonville, IL and Tom Tappan (Jessica) of Altamont, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
