He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thomas and Beulah Marie Summers (Matthews); and his siblings, Lester Summers, Kenneth Summers, April Blankenship and Sandra Springer.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Summers of Altamont; his children, Jerade Summers of Vandalia and Latisha Grieco (Jason) of Lacey, WA; his siblings, Jimmy Summers (Cindy) of Vandalia, Bobby Summers of Vandalia, Brian Summers of Vandalia, Tony Summers (Betty) of Vandalia, Kathy Wollin of Ramsey, Connie Hoover (Mike) of Broken Arrow, OK, Patty Jackson of Vandalia, Lannie Stewart (Doug) of Charleston and Dawn Goodin (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Dylan Summers of Vandalia, Jacob Summers, Micah Summers of Vandalia, Kortny Dusek of Maryville and Tayler Sloan of Collinsville. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
