He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Asplin and Vivian Asplin (Kinslow); his brothers, Ken and Paul; his parents-in-law, Wilbur Ping and Helen Ping; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine McQuaig, Jerry Hutton, Shirley Campton and Charles Ping.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ping (Altamont); his brothers, Charlie Asplin (Carol) and David Asplin (Deb); his siblings-in-law, Milt Elefson and Mary Hutton; his daughter Renee Crivilare (Victor); his nibling Chris Asplin (Mindy); his grandsons, Parker Asplin (Laura), Gabe Asplin (Lauren), Andrew Crivilare (Heather) and Joe Crivilare (Rachel Toca); and his great grandchildren, Ava, Asaph Asplin and Rita Crivilare. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
