He is survived by: his parents, John "Skip" James and Marilyn James (Fessler) of Godfrey; his daughter Brooke James of Godfrey; his stepdaughters, Fallon Beckett and India Beckett; his son Jesse James of Godfrey; his stepsons, Jerryd Beckett and Delancey Smith; his brother Brian James (Angela); and his sibling's children, Madeline and Eli James of Paducah, KY.. He is also survived by twelve step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial may be made to the family for his children's educational funds.
