She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Chestnut and Pearl Chestnut (Long); her spouse Zeph Johnson; her brothers, Leonard Chestnut and Tom Chestnut; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Hutchins and Joyce Chestnut.

She is survived by: her sons, Darin Johnson of Bethalto and Michael Johnson of Bethalto; her siblings, John Chestnut, Allen Chestnut, Margaret (Kenny Wiseman) and Alice Hutchins; and her daughter-in-law Marcella Chestnut. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
