She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lewis Jr. (Leslie) of Columbia, Missouri, Pamela Trotter (Robby) of Woodbridge, Virginia and Joanna Lewis of Florissant, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ja'Nia, Ja'Nae, Malachi, Jadon, Shaun and Jarvis; her great grandchildren, Naomi, Dallas and Nasir; her mother-in-law Anna Mae Lewis; her niece Valorie Moten (John); her goddaughters, Donna Floyd and Kia; and her close friends, Florence Oliver and Warner Henderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was called to her heavenly home on August 31, 2026, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Anita passed peacefully at the home of her daughter, surrounded by the love of her family.
