David Hunter Obituary
We announce the death of David Hunter (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 82. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hunter and Bonnie Hunter (Taylor); and his siblings, Betty, Candy, Thurman and Ed.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Henschen; his children, Brad Hunter of St. Louis, Erin Hunter of Dallas and Jill (Brian Shaw); his grandchildren, Lauren Shaw, Andrew Shaw, Dylan Smith and Corbin Hunter; and his sons, Keith and Kent.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
