He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward and Edith Pearl Wadlow (McDow). He is survived by: his sons, David Edward Vandergriff of Godfrey and Brad Lee Vandergriff (Nancy) of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Velda, Joshua, Bradley, David and Victoria; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Atlas, Alice and Reese; and his brother Michael Vandergriff (Sally).
