Carter; his sons, Donald Funk (Angela) of Alton, IL. and Chris Willis (Samantha Smith) of St. Louis, MO.; his grandchildren, Evelyn and Brayden Funk; and his siblings, Joan Funk of Godfrey, Trish Simpson (Pat) of Piasa, IL., Mike Funk (Lisa) of Godfrey and Renee Besta of Point Reyes, CA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
