He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Metzler of Alton; his sons, Don Metzler, Jr. (Kristine) of Maple Grove, MN and Mike Metzler of Alton; his grandchildren, Zachary Metzler, Benjamin Metzler, Autumn Metzler, Emily Eivazzadeh (Jack) and Audrey Thorp; and his great great grandchildren, Jaxson and Lincoln Eivaz.
