She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Hutchins and Ida M. Hutchins (Mehlberg); her husband Randy; and her siblings, Shirley Smith-Boston, Kenneth Smith, Bobby Smith, Eddie Smith and Dennis Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Briggs (Denise) of East Alton and Tana Alexander (Luke) of Godfrey; her grandson Aidan Briggs; her great grandchild Scottie Briggs; and her siblings, Sharon Smith-Schwab (Frank) of White City, IL, Gary Smith of Staunton and Larry Smith (Nancy) of Staunton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (1327 Vaughn Rd #1890, Wood River, IL 62095). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Roxana Schools Foundation, with all donations directed to benefit the Roxana Athletic Department, a place where her heart and spirit will continue to cheer on generations to come. Keep Donna M. Julian's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
