He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Downer and Mary Downer (Goode). He is survived by: his children, Amy Meneses (Daniel Sumner) of Wood River, Sarah Crockett (Nathan) of Rosewood Heights, Andy Downer (Christine) of Roxana, B. J. and Cory Downer (Katie) of Rosewood Heights; his grandchildren, Logan, Ava, Xavier Alan, Stella Meneses, Ezra, Lula Sumner, Madison, Sylvia Crockett, Zayda, Hudson, Max Downer and Olivia Downer; and his siblings, Shelia Ludwig (William) of Dorsey and Darel Downer (Corby) of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by siblings, their spouses, a brother-in-law, and his father-in-law.
