Elizabeth Christy Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 10, 2020, at the age of 74, Elizabeth Christy (Alton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barr and Elizabeth Barr; her siblings, Robert, Charles and Janice; and her son-in-law Kenneth Freeman.

She is survived by: her close friend Donald Christy; her husband Donald; her children, Stephanie Freeman and Dr. Stephen Christy (Julie); her sisters, Charlotte Shafer and Joyce Barr; her brother-in-law Gary Christy (Trudy); her daughters, Julie Christy and Betty; her cousin Linda Tucker (Melvin); and her friend Vicky White.

Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Godfrey, Illinois. A memorial tribute to honor her memory will be announced at a later date.
