We announce the death of Jack R Pruitt (Alton, Illinois), who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Jack will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Jack Pruitt; his wife Marcia Sitton; and his daughters, Jennifer Scott and Misty Dawn Pruitt. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Pruitt (Coleman); his children, Sarah (Chad Graham), Annie Sheridan of Alton, Illinois, Melissa (John Rigoni) and Tim Pruitt of Savannah, Georgia.; his grandchildren, Savannah Lumma (Dillon), Caleb Graham (Autumn), Derick Henley, Dominic Rigoni, Milo Rigoni, McKenzie Pruitt, Tanner Unterbrink, Sierra Werner and Megan Scott; his great grandchildren, Haisley Graham, Kyron Werner, Wilder Lumma, Weston Lumma and Willow Grace Lumma; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Pruitt of High Ridge, Missouri. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.

Memorials are suggested to Heartland Baptist Church in Alton, Illinois, or Solace Hospice House in O'Fallon, Missouri.
