He is survived by: his wife Laura A. Fowler; his son James; his daughter-in-law Jessica Fowler of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Olivia, Jamie, Jace, Alex (Abbie), Jacob, Kaleb, Natalie and Jaxson; his siblings, Linda Chapman (David) and Dotty Parker (John); his sister-in-law Pam Cates (Jay); his nephew Dave; and his niece Kelli Chapman (PA).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Audubon Bird Sanctuary or the Godfrey Fire Department, causes close to James's heart.
