He was predeceased by: his niece Jamie "Nikki" Short. He is survived by: his parents, Franklin Romano and Barbara Romano (Buckner) of Bethalto; his wife Cheryl Patterson; his siblings, Julie Romano (Jeff Sedlacek) of Edwardsville and Gregory Romano (Kellie) of Bethalto; his children, Ethan Romano and Emily Romano of Indianapolis, IN; his stepson David Rauschkolb (Tricia); his stepgrandchildren, Hayden, Piper and Ryder; his stepson Adam Rauschkolb (Rebecca); his nephew Zach Romano (Alana); and his nieces, Katie Milford and Lily Romano. He is also survived by many close friends and family member.
