He is survived by: his wife Jeri Nicholson; his children, India Martin (Steve) and Gerad Bruce; his siblings, Willie "Big Bud" Nicholson of Washington Park, Illinois, Elsie Tucker of Fairview Heights, Illinois. and Susie Nicholson of Fairview Heights, Illinois.; his daughter-in-law Denise Bruce; and his siblings, Mattie "MattLee" Hayes Ivey of Macon, Ella Nicholson Taylor of Scooba, Mississippi, Albert Nicholson, Jr. of East St, Henry "Sappy" Russell Nicholson of Scooba, Jeff Nicholson of East St and Richard "Wiley" Nicholson of Scooba, Mississippi.. He is also survived by five granddaughters and two grandsons.
