He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Sid Reed and Florence M. Reed (Janet); and his wife Maribeth A. Reed. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Reed (Lisa) of St. Charles, MO and Scott Reed (Debbie) of Moro; his grandchildren, Drew Reed (Helena), Amber Manzo (Sergio), Matt Reed, Zach Edwards and Cassie Reed; Brookelyn, Ellie, Conor and Mila.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, reflecting John's generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to making the world a better place.
