We bid farewell to John Warren (Alton, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 26, 2025 at the age of 77. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar M. Kinsley and Evelyn M. Nelson; and his significant other Sandra Reese. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Warren (Jennifer), Joshua Warren and Kimberly Cruz; his partner Cherly Webb; and his brother James Warren. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorials be made to New Horizons Band and VFW Post 1299 in Edwardsville, IL.
