He is survived by: his mother Laurie Shewmake (Mitchell) of Alton; his children, Kirstin Forgy (Billy Mathis) of Alton, Alexis Forgy (Connor Stranimeier) of Sawyerville and Blake Forgy (Krystal) of East Alton; his grandchildren, Kinsley Mathis, Rosalie Forgy and Kaisen Stranimeier; and his siblings, Marnie Wright, Travis Forgy, Jaimie Forgy, Jackie Dale Forgy and James Forgy, Jr..
