She was predeceased by: her parents, William Houston and Ona Grace Beeler (Yeargain); her husband Rev. Vernon Dodson; and her siblings, Earl, Glynn, Dale, Billie, Azro Beeler and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Danny R. Dodson (Janice) of Mulberry Grove, Deborah K. Mutman of Godfrey, Brenda L. Dale of Alton and Alicia S. Hill (Wayne) of Godfrey; and her sister Peggy Gordon. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren.
