He is survived by: his children, Robert A. Showers (Elizabeth Bauer) of Alton, Mark E. Showers (Jeanne) of Alton, Carole A. Showers of Alexandria, VA and Rebecca S. Luer (Richard) of Florissant, MO; his grandchildren, Aimée Lin (Shine) of Chesterfield, MO, Shannon Davis (Jamie) of St. Louis, MO, Katie Walsh (Michael) of Ballwin, MO, Dr. Christopher A. Hesh (Hee Won Lee) of Atlanta, GA, Cade M. Bauer-Showers (Nona Gronert) of Madison, WI and Laura G. Hesh of Atlanta, GA; his great grandchildren, Max, Elise Lin, June Suh Hesh-Lee and Michael Walsh Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Showers of Orlando, FL, Marilyn Headley of Titusville, FL, William "Bill" Meyer of Jacksonville, IL, Charles A. Headley, Mary Patricia "Pat" Meyer and Betty Showers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid precautions, no visitation will be held at the funeral home.
